November sees a busy month of outdoor league and championship hockey ahead. Players should please keep checking the app regularly for any changes to training times, with age group squads starting indoor training ahead of Super 6s competitions.
A few reminders :
Junior Outdoor League & Championship Competitions
This Sunday our U14s and U18s play in Round 2 of the knock out Tier 1 England Hockey Championships. Both U18 teams are at home after the M1s game on Sunday so please do come down and support the teams as we host Sutton Coldfield (Girls) and Oxford Hawks (Boys).
Sunday 24th November is a key diary date and we would request that all squad members please make themselves available where possible. As well as being our 24/25 Partners Day (details below) it is the last round of the U14 and U16 Tier 1 Midlands Leagues with all 4 teams looking to secure a top league spot and qualify for the post Christmas Supra-League competition.
Partners Day 24th November - Gum Shield Fitting
Don't forget to keep Sunday 24th November free for a meet and greet with our 24/25 Partners! The M1s, U14s and U16s all have home matches and there will be a chance to meet the Committee and Coaching team, find out more about our Partners and join us for refreshments throughout the day in the Repton Sports Centre hospitality suite. TK Hockey will be coming along and bringing a range of items across their range for players and supporters to check out. You'll also have an opportunity to meet representatives from our Men's Partner Baron & Grant to find out more about what they do and the exceptional levels of investment expertise and personal service they provide.
We are delighted to also welcome The Practice Willington to our Partners Day. They will be in attendance on the day with their digital scanner for anyone who wants to order a comfortable, fitted gum shield at a special rate for Repton HC members . These sports guards come highly recommended (as worn by our player coaches Adam Dixon, Jono Hawley and Anna Stone) and they are designed to be sport specific to give maximum protection against trauma (they can also be named!).
