Juniors
Good Luck to our U18s in this Sunday's Tier 1 National Championship Semi-Finals. The girls are headed to Clifton HC in a repeat of last year's semi-final and the boys travel to Surbiton HC, looking to earn a spot at the National Final and retain their Tier 1 title.
Congratulations to the U16 Boys and Girls who have both qualified for the 24/25 Tier 1 Championship National Finals on 12th/13th April. Their success in pre-Christmas Midlands pool games secured a position in the post Christmas National Supra-Leagues. The reward for both squads' commitment to weekly training and Sunday Supra-League matches is a spot in the National tournament including the top 8 club teams in the country. Notable wins this season for the girls included a 4-2 win against local rivals Beeston HC and for the boys their long journey to ISCA paid off with a 7-1 victory.
Our U14 Boys and Girls also qualified for the post Christmas supra-leagues and both sit in the top half of their respective pools as they head in to their final games over the coming weeks and look to secure a spot at Nationals in May.
Our Under 10s were hosted by Belper HC for this year's Derbyshire County Championships. Both teams qualify for the Midlands Regionals Competition on 30th April at Nottingham Hockey Centre with the girls as County Champions after a 5-0 win vs the hosts. The U12s head to Belper HC on the 23rd for their In2Hockey county round and will be well prepared after a number of friendly triangular tournaments over the past weeks. Thank you to the volunteer team managers and all their efforts to organise match play for our U10 and U12 teams.
Adults
With 3 games left in their first season in Conference Midlands the Baron & Grant M1s sit top of the table, 8 points clear of the second place team.
The LCS Containers W1s are currently in a mid table position in their first season in Division 1 North and have shown maturity and resilience week in week out against some strong, experienced opposition.
The M2s are 8th in Midlands Division 3 East after a tough away match at Khalsa last weekend and will look to build points over the remaining four games this season.
